Announcement of the Board of Polfa Warszawa S.A. concerning the Disulfiram preparation
We inform that in connection with the necessity of change of the conditions of manufacturing, and – as a consequence of this – incurring of considerable financial outlays, the Board of Polfa Warszawa S.A. has been compelled to make a decision about ceasing of production of the Disulfiram preparation, in form of 100 mg implantation tablets.
A possibility of carrying out modernization of the technological line and potential restarting of production shall be considered after receiving of the Registration Office's positive assessment concerning finishing of the harmonization process.
At the same time, we would like to emphasize that our company offers the medicinal product containing the same active substance (Disulfiramum), also designed for curing alcohol dependency, called Anticol 500 mg (the number of license: R/2441), in its permanent range of products, in the form of oral tablets.
