Polpharma and Actavis Compete for Polfa Warszawa (Puls Biznesu)
Polish Polpharma and Icelandic Actavis have made it to the last stage of negotiations on the purchase of 85% of shares in Polfa Warszawa, which will start on September 5, as announced by PHF (Polish Pharmaceutical Holding) in its Wednesday press release.
‘Two companies, Polish Polpharma and Icelandic Actavis, are final competitors for the purchase of Polfa Warszawa. Next week, that is on September 5, the Polish Pharmaceutical Holding will start negotiations with them. If they turn out to be unsatisfactory, Adamed may still re-enter the game. Agreement with a selected investor on the final contract of the Company’s sale will be reached any time soon,’ said the President of the Management Board of PHF, Artur Woźniak, quoted in the press release.
The President added that PHF would most probably make the final decision on the sale of Polfa in September.
