Krzysztof Berndt becomes new President of the Management Board of Polfa Warszawa S.A.
The Supervisory Board of Polfa Warszawa S.A. appointed Krzysztof Berndt President of the Management Board, an advisors of the Company’s former Management Boards specializing in the preparation and implementation of the company’s developmental programme. The new president started work on 15 September 2009.
Krzysztof Berndt is a graduate of the University of Gdańsk where he studied marine transportation. The new President completed postgraduate studies majoring in Marketing, Management and Logistics for Managers at Business Center College in Copenhagen.
He gained his managerial skills working mostly for international corporations. He started his professional carrier at Zepter International Poland. However his experience in management is connected mostly with pharmaceutical companies including: ICN Polfa Rzeszów S.A. and Novo Nordisk Pharma S.A. or ORFE S.A. and Torent Pharma LTD.
Recently, as a co-owner and a Member of the Management Board of the BTS Consulting company, he specialized in the provision of counselling services to pharmaceutical companies concerning their developmental plans and the acquisition of finished products. As an advisor of several Management Boards of Polfa Warszawa S.A. he was the author of the Company’s developmental programme for the years 2008 – 2012, which was decisive for the economic success of the company in 2008, i.e. during the first year of its implementation.
